Victoria Isabella started singing when she was 11 years old in grade school when a teacher heard her and some friends performing together for a talent show. The teacher was impressed by her voice and expressed his desire to hear her sing independently of her group. She sang Shealeigh’s “What can I say” and got a standing ovation. Since that time, Victoria has had a single-minded desire to become a singer. Victoria works diligently, posting singing videos on various media platforms, performing at malls, fashion shows, charity events, and even schools. She has worked with War Muhammad on a song called “I Do Believe”, and she’s collaborated on a song with Joe Villanueva (The Tejano Bluesman) called “Corazon Sin Nido”. Immediately following that recording she released “Something Good” on her label. The song is available on Spotify. Victoria is currently working on music in both English and Spanish. Victoria has performed in Chicago IL, Beardstown IL, Peoria IL, California, Houston Texas, and San Antonio. She performed in San Antonio in 2024 at the Tejano Music Awards Fanfair and Low Rider Magazine Super Show. Her big break came when Tony Guerrero contacted her from La Sombra. She met him and got to perform with G5 out of Florida during Fanfair in San Antonio. She is working with Tony's son Marco Guerrero on several songs with new releases on the horizon.
Cumbia is a popular genre of music and dance that originated in Colombia and is found throughout Latin America. It combines elements of African, Indigenous, and European musical traditions, featuring a distinctive rhythm and usually accompanied by traditional instruments such as drums, accordion, and guitar. Cumbia's lively and infectious beat has made it a dancefloor favorite and evolved over time with various regional and cultural variations.
Tejano music, also known as Tex-Mex music, is a popular form of music in Central and South Texas and northeastern Mexico that combines stylistic elements from both cultures. Tejano music draws from norteño, a style of music from Northern Mexico (“norteño” is the Spanish word for “north”), and the brass music of German and Czech immigrants who settled in Texas during the nineteenth century. Tejano artists borrowed the accordion, stringed instruments like the violin, and brass instruments like the trumpet and tuba from these styles.
Conjunto music—traditional Tejano music from the Rio Grande borderlands—is another primary influence on the sound. Both conjunto groups in Texas and grupos norteños (norteño groups) in Mexico perform with a mix of traditional Mexican and Eastern European instruments like the button accordion, bajo sexto (a 12-string guitar), bass, and drums. Conjunto and norteño groups also play similar setlists built around traditional forms of Mexican music, including corridos, or ballads, and dance music like cumbias, polkas, and waltzes.
Tejano music offers variations on these band arrangements and songs and draws on forms of American music, such as rock, blues, and country, for its sound.
Ya Na Soy La Misma and Amor Exclusivo are just two of the songs that are being released this year which were written by Marco Guerrero. Victoria has also collaborated on a song with Joe Villanueva (The Tejano Bluesman) called “Corazon Sin Nido”.
“Pop music” is short for popular, which gives a good idea on its own for the type of music Pop includes. To put it simply, Pop music refers to whatever songs are relevant and trending at a given time.
Victoria currently has 2 pop songs available:
Something Good
I do Believe in me
Doll in a dented box (Coming Soon)
